The quality of your work relationships can make Or break you. Having great work relationships will create a great work environment, But each relationship has it own uniqueness to it. You must first build a strong foundation to work with. 'Establish a sense of community': By doing this you can help prevent Or neutralize a toxic work atmosphere, Also you need to communicate with your co- worker. 'Encourage open communication'~~ Open up a topic to talk about to your co- workers Or give insight to an on going topic like health care, the weather, how their day has been. Share info with the right people at the right time. Don't talk about your wild weekend to people who you know would find it rude. Do this once a week Or every two weeks over lunch Or a coffee break. 'Remember the zone': Everyone has there, as comfort zone don't be all up in it. Don't intrude on someone comfort zone unless asked to. Look at the bigger picture: Look into what a co- worker might be stressed out about, Is there people around they don't like. Family/ Friend problems, New position at work could be overwhelming them. Always defuse negative situations. Pay attention to relationships at work and how they each interact with each other. Don't allow negative feelings take over and fester. You should always focus on building stronger relationships with your co- workers. By doing this you can make your work place a productive and rewarding place for you and everyone around you.
