Words of thanks could never express My gratitude for the beauty I see.The sun's rays through the silver clouds. Pure light shining down upon me.The smell of the earth after the rain. As the winds blow the storm clouds away. The sun setting over the mountains Bringing a close to another day. The solitude of a winter's night, The joy at the first flower of spring. These are the things I am thankful for With words of gratitude I sing. The light I see in children's eyes When they discover something new The love I feel when I'm in your arms. The fact that God brought me to you. These are the things for which I am thankful. The blessings I hold deep in my heart, The love I feel at the start of each new day, Truly our lives are a work of art.
