So then we come to Player #2: A great friend who hasn't dated anyone in over 6 years.... and has never been in love..... but is a great guy with a good heart and soul. Well, this one is actually easy.... simply because of what kind of guy this is. He tends to put his blame on his looks (he looks very young), his luck, and his life in general, I blame his attitude and outlook. He's so negative about dating...... he gets shot down by girls all the time (he tells me this) and he finds himself hopeless. I'll tell ya one thing..... girls can sense that. One of the most attractive qualities (in guys and girls) is confidence (but a thin line....ha). This guy looks down on himself so much that that's the vibe he is giving off to girls also, so they too will look down on him. So he's had bad luck with girls in the past..... so what?! We can't go through life living in the past..... what's the worst that could happen?? Approach a girl and find out she has a boyfriend? Approach a girl and find out she isn't interested? SO What! Look around..... there are So many girls (and guys!) out there with So many different personalities and stories..... that with each person you meet, you will be able to find something intriguing about them...... Which leads to being attracted to them. I won't say that he will meet someone when he is least expecting....... Or when he stops looking..... because honestly, no one wants to hear that anymore and it can become one of the most annoying/frustrating phrases ever spoken. (I know that from experience.) You will meet "the one" when the time is right. When is the time right? Every moment the time is right..... take every chance to meet new people..... and if you still haven't found "the one"...... I guarentee you will have at least found out a lot more about yourself (and have then met some truly crazy people!). For the moment being.... live free..... be young..... and keep your chin up...... get your life started and together..... and then invite someone into it. .........to be continued
